Hi, I’m Anna Strother! I’m originally from Bridgeport, Texas, and a proud graduate of Bridgeport High School, Class of 2020. I recently earned my degree from Oklahoma Christian University, where I also had the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level.

I’ve been passionate about volleyball since the 5th grade. Over the years, I dedicated myself to growing as a player—attending clinics, college camps, and putting in countless hours of training both in school programs and on my own. I played three years of collegiate volleyball—two at Oklahoma Christian and one at Arkansas Tech—before an injury from a car accident shifted my focus from playing to coaching. In addition to indoor volleyball, I also competed in sand volleyball throughout college.

My coaching experience includes working with recreational leagues, assisting with high school and college-level camps, and providing individualized training for athletes of all ages. I believe in fostering not only skill development but also confidence, resilience, and a love for the game.

I’m incredibly excited to be part of the Pono team and to contribute to the growth and success of our athletes. I look forward to working closely with players, parents, and fellow coaches to create a positive, empowering environment where every athlete can thrive.
