Ranee Lloyd-Hoss

14.1 Head Coach

With 25 years as an educator, 25 years of club coaching experience, and 10 years of school volleyball coaching, Coach Ranee is passionate about helping young athletes reach their full potential. A former three-year varsity volleyball player who earned a Division I volleyball scholarship, she went on to train in beach volleyball with aspirations of competing on the AVP Tour before an injury redirected her passion from playing to coaching.
As both a teacher and coach, Ranee understands that every athlete learns differently and grows at their own pace. She is committed to creating a positive, challenging environment where players are encouraged to compete with confidence, embrace hard work, and develop a growth mindset. Her coaching philosophy extends beyond teaching volleyball skills—she strives to build mentally tough, coachable athletes who demonstrate resilience, accountability, integrity, and teamwork in every aspect of their lives.
Throughout her coaching career, Ranee has worked with athletes ages 9–18, directed position-specific camps and clinics, collaborated with collegiate coaches at elite camps, and led teams to competitive success. She also had the honor of serving as an American ambassador with Fort Worth Sister Cities, coaching a junior volleyball team to a gold medal at an international tournament in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
Coach Ranee believes that success is measured by more than wins and losses. Her goal is for every athlete to leave the gym more confident, mentally stronger, and better prepared to face challenges both on and off the court. She is passionate about helping players discover their potential, compete with purpose, and become the best version of themselves.
